Background and Training

I have a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business administration; a MSW from the Fordham Graduate School of Social Studies and I have received over 1,000 hours , the equivalent of 10 years of graduate school, of personal training in Erickson’s methods from several of Erickson’s top students, including Dr. Jeffrey Zeig, the founder of the Erickson Foundation, Dr. Stephen Gilligan, viewed as a world leader in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Dr. Sidney Rosen author of “My voice will go with you: The teaching tales of Milton H Erickson” and Cloe Madanes an author and an early developer of Strategic Family Therapy.

Since 2011 I have been actively applying my knowledge, life learnings and hypnotherapy skills in assisting individuals  to lead happier, more fulfilling lives.

My business career was in finance working at Citibank and Chrysler Capital Corporation, after which I engaged in private equity investing first for the Bank of Bahrain and subsequently on my own behalf. My activities included  founding ownership and management of national and international businesses with operations in the US as well as China employing over 1,500 employees and with combined revenues of  $85 million.

On a personal note I am grateful for having grown up in Padanaram a small fishing and farming town  in Massachusetts where I was supported by a small but close community and many thoughtful, kind and patience teachers.
